Your windows just got a remodel.
Your sky just got brighter.
It can be a cloudy day, but no longer gloomy.
This is a a big deal.
It’s a sunless Monday and here’s what one of my north-side windows has to say about it:
Thank you white snow for catching the light and bouncing it into my home. It is a pleasure to have you.
I am one who takes in the scene, and if it is lifeless—I start to go down, if it is energizing—up I go. This can be a pain. I have literally on a low-mood day had to go out of my way to avoid walking through certain stores to get to a destination. (No offense Sears clothing department.)
I have begged and pleaded for a window on the west wall in my family room. Or even just a hole in the wall—not asking for much.
Then there it is today, in the air filling the room, with no remodeling required – I’ve got snowlight.
Yes, the grass is greeener on the other side.
But there is a bright side.
And that’s what I am looking at for today.

I love blinding snowlight when it’s reaching inside. Way to see it today, and on a Monday too. Hope you had a good one!
Ok, well that’s something. Really something. I’m so glad this caught your eye, glad for the extra light in the slightly darker places – like windowless family rooms. And Mondays.
Thanks for sharing!!
