sunday: break.

No half caf. A large, three shots of espresso, 2 scoops of milk chocolate with whip mocha.

Why the need to break the rules?

Because I broke my back lugging my lumpus who rumpuses across a 100 yard football field of a church parking lot this morning. He actually kicked his pants off he while tantruming – they fell to the ground. Thankfully I ran into a friend on the way out who could walk by my side and at least cheer me on, hold my purse, and pick up the pants. What probably made it worse was all the laughing I (and we) were doing. Cause really. This is my life. And it’s funny. Sometimes. Mr. C can be a little nutty, thrashing and railing about in and out of my arms, kicking off of my body so he can lurch back and forth, all while pantless. I am panting for breathe from laughter and then in an effort to get him wrangled into the car seat there is a bit of a click (or clunk) in my spine. So yeah. There is a reason we say back breaking.

After this I am aware of needing a different kind of break. And have yet to have caffeine. As soon as Mr. K enters I exit. After dropping off The Teen I head to Caribou for a Great Clips haircut length of a break. Before savoring my mocha, I take the upcoming onset of dehydration into consideration and decide to be kind to my body and suck down some water. Suck suck suck.

What the???

Ok. Really. This is my life? I am the mother of this little person. How and when did he pull this off? At this point I somehow laugh again. Along with some gagging about the germ aspect of what I just sipped… yea.

I am the crazy, laughing, over-tired woman sitting all alone in the corner of Caribou with a heating pad on her back and a hot wheel in her water.

“Yes, I would like some room temperature water – no ice please – and with a hot wheel car – that would be perfect. Thanks.”

Likely I am not alone with the being crazy part. So with any and all of you friends.

We can, we do and we will. Cheering you on.

One two three: Mothers! Break!

(As in take one. Now!)

LOL! And ewww! Oh my gosh that is priceless. Sorry for the gross factor, but all I can see right now is the hysterically funny factor. A hot wheels in your water bottle?! Hahahaha. Stop the madness!!!

And yes. A break. Right now! Right after I finish working for the day. That is my plan. :)

I’m glad it was just a hotwheel, cuz when I think about what else from the car could have possibly to made it into the waterbottle? Um, yes. Laugh girl, the other options are not nearly as fun.

lol, Heather. Oh my gosh you are so right. Seriously. Some of those things could have even dissolved and not been quite so visible….

We love big, bold, visible hot wheels! Drink up!
