tagged—and a give-away.

Loving this new, hip, up and coming blogger: the charming elephant. She just happens to be adorable and happens to be a good friend of My Teen. Here they are, in random order:

[ A prize give-away! Try to figure out which one is the ancestor of Emily (The Teen), and which one of Julie (R-girl)? With this incognito look, it just might be hard to figure out. Enter by commenting your guess - you have a 50/50 chance of being correct! The right answer will put you in the running for a door prize - who doesn't love a prize people!!! ]

So this charming writer tagged me with some of her own clever questions.

1. Sweet or Salty?
Both. And at the same time.

2. If you could be any Greek god/goddess, who would you be, and why?
I would prefer staying far away from the goddess of evil and misfortune, and I will go with the goddess of wine and friendship between nations, Amphictyonis. And I would hang out with Alectrona, the goddess of the sun for the next 6 months straight.

As for the both/and girls? How about the Charintes: Aglaia (goddess of splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). They welcomed Aphrodite when she was blown in by the east wind. I would like to think we would do that.

3. Have any relation to someone ‘famous’? If not, who would you like to be kin to?
If being a friend counts as ‘relation’ besides Vicky Degner, I would say…well, I’ll just stick with Vicky Degner. (Don’t know her? Your missing out!)

4. What is your favorite subject?
Social studies, or sociology – anything with the word social and I am in. (Hoping it’s not too obvious, but it is not grammar. Sorry about that.)

5. Are you ticklish?
When I am in pain. Yes. It is odd. Mr. K knows if I really stubbed my toe, or if I really am in labor if I giggle.

6. What is the longest you have slept in?
2pm. That was good times.

7. What is your favorite part of blogging?
Being myself.

8. You wake up one morning and everything is PINK! What’s your reaction?
I slept at Julie’s again!

Thanks for the fun R-girl.

Now remember to get in the running for this door-prize (which will be delivered to your door):
Is it (left to right) The Teen/ R-girl or R-girl/The Teen. This prize it too good friends!

[ Maybe I am more akin to the giver of good things. What goddess is that? ]
