friend heather.
as tradition goes – 3 nice things.
alright, the woman is beautiful.
not counting that as one, the picture said it.
I like that she likes green.
again, noted by photo.
oh, the hair.
oh, naturelle.
clearly seen in photo.
my 3 nice things about my friend heather:
1. she see’s the good in people. like all of them.
2. she’s up to it – whether it’s getting something big to fit in a small trunk of a car, to holding, dealing and trusting the tough stuff of life.
3. she can laugh. here’s to some of that today and coming up friend.
happy birthday girl.
love you,
em

whatever, girls. I had to say it once. Thanks, em for your lovely words. I will take them in. Ahhh. Ok, love ya!
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes (to all six things you snuck in there, Em). Yes. Can I second this amazing post. You are so right on about our friend, Heather. And here’s one more: She sees potential, like everywhere. In bare, unadorned walls; in small, un-gardened patches of dirt; in young, yearning minds and hearts; in new and old friendships; in sucky, miserable, hard times; and most of all, in people.
I truly would not be all that I am today, if not for Heather. She saw things in me that I didn’t.
And, by the way, this blog wouldn’t be here at all, if not for Heather and her vision. And her birthday, last year!!!
Tears over here…because this is so beautifully stated and soooo true
